The band was formed in Barr, Switzerland, and is composed of Broggi on guitar, Reto Wilhelm Tschösi Kühne on bass and vocals, and Rolf Jazzi Heer on drums. In 1984, the band launched its first demo, Powerthrash, and The Infernal Thrashing. It produced its live demo Live Baar the following year. The band released its first album Hymn to Abramelin. Only 2000 copies of this album were produced. In 1988, the band released its second album Extreme Cold Weather. Reto Wilhelm Tschösi Kühne left the band shortly after the album's release. In 1990, the band recruited singer Andy Kaina and bassist Patrick Frugi Hersche. In 1991, it released its third album Choir of Horrors. The following year, it launched the album Rotten Perish and the EP The Ballad of Jesus. In 1994, it released the album Underground, after which the band split up but reformed in 2003.
