Metalite

Metalite is no longer really a Power Metal band, in the sense it has been understood in recent years. It cannot/does not want to compete in any way with the genre's heavyweights. While some passages still allow the Swedes to be tied to the movement, the reality of this second album is rather rooted in a very modern Metal lucidity, sometimes more powerful than average ("Warrior", and even then, more intermittently than anything else). This explains that, but in no way prevents loving the music for what it is. An interesting digression into a Metal with contours more Pop than anything else, with very synthetic sonorities, and quite close to an Amaranthe, with that surplus of energy that avoids the softness of choruses cut out to seduce the teenage masses.
