Michael Kiske, born on January 24, 1968 in Hamburg, is a German heavy metal and hard rock singer, mainly known for having been a member of the band Helloween (1987-1993). Rumors announced the arrival of Michael Kiske in Iron Maiden, a band that had also parted with its singer, Bruce Dickinson. It was finally Blaze Bayley who got the position. In 1996, Michael Kiske released his first solo effort Instant Clarity with guests Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray) and Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden). The ballads Always and Do I Remember a Life were recorded in tribute to Ingo Schwichtenberg, former drummer of Helloween who had committed suicide a few months earlier. The year 2012 definitively marks Michael Kiske's return to the metal scene, with, on the one hand, his participation in the Avantasia tour, and above all the release of the Unisonic album.
