Misery Index

Misery Index was formed in 2001 in Maryland, in the United States. Originally composed of singer/bassist Jason Netherton, singer/guitarist Mike Harrison and drummer Kevin Talley, the band's line-up has evolved, and Jason Netherton is the only founding member still present in the band. Misery Index's style is defined by death metal music with strong hardcore punk and grindcore influences. The band first made a few demos under its own label, Anarchos Records, then signed a contract with the label Relapse Records in January 2006, under which it released its second studio album, Discordia. It is under this same label that the albums Traitors in 2006 and Heirs To Thievery in 2010 were released.
