Moi dix Mois

Moi dix Mois is a Japanese Visual Kei/Gothic metal band formed on March 19, 2002 by Mana, the former leader of Malice Mizer. Its singer was Juka, who left the band in April 2005. Since then, he has been replaced by Seth. The band's music combines various instruments: harpsichord, piano, violin, organ and of course the usual guitars, bass and drums. The band has an original image, blending romanticism and baroque. The band's emblem is the number 10. This number is also found in several titles ("La dix croix", "Dix est infini", "L'intérieur dix" etc.). This number is in fact made up of the 1 (which symbolizes the beginning) and the 0 (infinity or nothingness). In "Moi dix Mois", the M of "Moi" recalls the first letter of the pseudonym "Mana" (and "Moi" serves to indicate that this is Mana's personal musical project).
