My Own Victim

My Own Victim is an American Metalcore band formed in 1993 in Louisville, Kentucky. The band recorded its first EP, My Own Victim, in 1995. Their first album, Burning Inside, was released the same year. They would record two more albums before splitting up in 2004. After the members had already played together in the band Human Remains in their youth, the band changed its name to Crawlspace in 1993. The demo Foothold followed, which allowed the band to land a contract with Century Media. Before signing the contract, the band renamed itself My Own Victim. The first album Burning Inside followed in November 1995. The band was then composed of singer Victor Hillerich, guitarists Brian Omer and Jeff Toy, bassist Todd Conn and drummer Ivan Arnold. The release was followed by a European tour with Mucky Pup.
