Noisehunter was founded in the late 1970s by Hanni Vasiliadis (v/g), Erwin Perle (g) and Ronny Lewandowski (dr) under the name Noise in Hackenbroich / Dormagen (Neuss district). After some legal conflicts, the band name Noisehunter was agreed upon in the mid-1980s. Shortly afterward, the first demo was recorded at the Dierks studios in Stommeln and the band obtained a recording contract with the label GAMA-Records, on which the first album titled Time to Fight was released.
