Old Mans Child

Old Man's Child is a Norwegian symphonic Black metal band. Formed in 1993, the band Old Man's Child was founded by Galder, previously known as Grusom, whose real name is Thomas Rune Andersen. Various other members came to join the band over the years, with Galder remaining the only stable element of the line-up. Because of these frequent changes, the band's concerts are relatively rare. Since 1996, the year it signed its contract with the international label Century Media Records, Old Man's Child has gained worldwide fame. The band's roots go back to 1989, with the creation of a death/thrash metal band named "Requiem", by Galder, Jardar and Tjodalv.
