Oratory

Oratory is a Portuguese melodic metal band that came into being in 1994 through Miguel and Marco. They were young and did not have much experience, so they tried different things. The result gave the demos Enchantation (1996) and Sarcastic Soul (1997). Their evolution from the technical standpoint led to a change of the band's members. In 1999, they took part in the Steel Warrior festival where the company Recital noticed them, so they entered the studio where they released the EP Last Prophecy, which received quite a few good reviews around the globe. Then they recorded various albums one after another... In February 2001, the band's singer (Marco Alves) left the band because he had trouble managing his personal and professional life. Ana Lara was therefore taken on as singer.
