Oxiplegatz

Oxiplegatz is a Swedish Experimental Black Metal band formed in 1993. Oxiplegatz is a unique project of Alf Svensson, formerly of At The Gates and Grotesque. He formed Oxiplegatz after growing tired of touring with At The Gates following their With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness, and because of personal differences over the band's future. Owing to his need to experiment further, he felt he had to create his own private project where he would be free to express himself freely and pursue his own musical vision and play whatever he wanted. He then gathered some of his old material that he had written and that had never been used by At The Gates and that was not even up to standard (in his own words given in an interview to Chronicles Of Chaos).
