Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael Osbourne (born 3 December 1948 in Aston, Birmingham), better known as Ozzy Osbourne, is a British heavy metal singer. He is also nicknamed "The Prince of Darkness" in reference to the antics of his private life and his stage performances. He is known both for his solo music career and for his role within Black Sabbath, one of the founding bands of metal. Since the beginning of his solo career, several American parents' associations have called for a ban on Osbourne's tours, stating among other things that he has "a bad influence on teenagers". Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are one of the wealthiest couples in the United Kingdom, according to the Sunday Times magazine. They ranked 458th on the list in 2005, with a fortune estimated at one hundred million pounds.
