WebsitePaul Di'Anno, real name Paul Andrews, is a British musician born on 17 May 1958 in Chingford. He is mainly known for having been the singer of the band Iron Maiden during their early years. He took part in the group's first two studio recordings. He would be replaced at the end of 1981 by Bruce Dickinson, his alcohol abuse deteriorating his vocal abilities. Something one can verify by listening to Paul's solo albums, which would never really shed his label of ex-singer of Iron Maiden. He even made live albums containing only Iron Maiden covers. On his departure from Maiden, he created his own band, Lonewolf, which recorded the tracks of the album Trigger by the Japanese singer Misako Honjoh in 1983. Then Lonewolf became Di'Anno and recorded an album.
