Pride of Lions

Do you remember the band SURVIVOR? The band that wrote the famous "Eye Of The Tiger" for the soundtrack of the film Rocky? If I'm asking you this, it's because PRIDE OF LIONS is the latest project to date of former SURVIVOR guitarist Jim Peterik. After having paid his dues in other melodic realms (IDES OF MARCH, 38 SPECIAL and SAMMY HAGAR), he decided, with the blessing of the president of the Frontiers Records label, to create PRIDE OF LIONS by teaming up with a young and talented singer, Toby Hitchcock, 25 years old. This first eponymous album is the fruit of the collaboration of these 2 men and works in the hard-FM vein. But a hard-rock FM that is more rock than hard all the same. The guitar is nevertheless quite present.
