Adrian Smith (Adrian H Frederik Smith), a British musician born on February 27, 1957 in London, is one of the guitarists of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. In 1990, he was expelled from the band by Steve Harris, due to disagreements over the band's musical direction. The previous year, taking advantage of a break from Iron Maiden, Adrian had recorded a solo album with Adrian Smith and Project (Asap) called Silver and Gold. This band, formed with former Urchin members, would not last. He founded the band Untouchables, which would then be named Psycho Motel for the span of two albums.
