Punish Yourself

Punish Yourself is a French band from Toulouse that performs on metal, gothic, electro and industrial stages alike, in flamboyant outfits, sporting fluorescent makeup entirely covering their bodies, and displaying a pronounced taste for the macabre and for sex. Often categorized as industrial metal despite the band's denials, having always declared that they play "electronic rock'n'roll", claiming influences as varied as Iggy Pop, Ministry, White Zombie or hardcore techno, Punish Yourself places itself at the crossroads of different extreme movements, and gathers a heterogeneous audience, drawn as much by the band's visual extravagances as by its music laden with references (which range from the Cramps to Skinny Puppy by way of Alien Sex Fiend).
