Quireboys

The Quireboys is a British hard rock band, from England. It was formed in the mid-1980s and influenced notably by Rod Stewart's The Faces, whose voice is close to that of Spike the singer. It was Sharon Osbourne, the wife of Ozzy Osbourne, who spotted the band. The album A Bit of What You Fancy achieved great success, but like many bands of this style, the Quireboys were swept away by the grunge wave. The band was nevertheless still active in 2012. Many musicians have served in the band; one can cite Ginger (guitar), the leader of the band The Wildhearts, Guy Bailey (guitar), Nigel Mogg (bass) the nephew of Phil Mogg (UFO), or Phil Martini (drums). They released a new album, titled White Trash Blues, in September 2017.
