Revolution Renaissance

Timo Tolkki was the guitarist and composer of the band Stratovarius. He was born on 3 March 1966 in Klaukkala, Finland. After having been the guitarist of Revolution Renaissance, he is now the guitarist of Symfonia. After his departure from the legendary band Stratovarius under difficult circumstances, and barely two months after the official announcement of the band's third opus, the Finnish musician and composer Timo Tolkki announced on his Facebook page the dissolution of his latest project, which he had led as best he could for about three years: Revolution Renaissance. The band will have recorded three albums from 2008 to 2010 before splitting.
