Rogue Male

Rogue Male is a British band of the New wave of British heavy metal, originally from London, led by Jim Lyttle. They are characterized by the biker metal style, a metal style strongly influenced by Punk. Rogue Male is the culmination of many punk bands formed by Jim Lyttle since 1977. Created in 1983 in London, the band brought together Jim Lyttle on vocals, guitarist Phil Ashton (ex-The Handsome Beasts), bassist Chris Aylmer (ex-Samson) and drummer Steve Kingsley (ex-Deep Machine). Chris Aylmer was later replaced by Phillip Clark. The latter did not stay long, as he was himself replaced by Kevin Collier (ex-Le Griffe) and Ashton by John Fraser Binnie (ex-Dirty Tricks) in 1984, shortly before recording the tracks for the band's first album.
