Website
Saga is a Canadian progressive rock and neo-prog band formed in 1977 in Oakville (Ontario), Canada, by Michael Sadler and Jim Crichton. Coming out of post-1970 progressive rock, the Canadian band draws its influences from blues, funk and classical music. Saga is one of the most internationally successful neo-prog bands, alongside Marillion and Pendragon, among others. They were the first Canadian rock band to play beyond the Iron Curtain. Their greatest commercial successes include the album Worlds Apart (1981), which topped the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart with the track On The Loose.
