Scanner

SCANNER is a German metal band that has existed since 1988. Like many others, they began their career with the company Noise. Just before the release of the record "Hypertrace", they changed their name to SCANNER. They were previously called LIONS BREED. In fact, only one album came out under that name. They changed their name because they felt they had become too big for it. Now, Scanner is at odds with another band also called SCANNER, an English techno act. In 1988, SCANNER released its first album, called "Hypertrace" and published under the Noise label. It was a genuine power metal concept album. Two years later, they released their second album, "Terminal Earth", also on Noise. But the singer had left in the meantime. The band would split up in 2003.
