Scorpion Child

Scorpion Child was formed in 2006. The band blends psychedelic rock and krautrock with elements of heavy metal and sounds reminiscent of Rainbow, Pentagram or Lucifer's Friend. In January 2013 the band signed with Nuclear Blast before opening for Clutch on their American tour in March. They released their first album, produced by Chris Frenchie Smith, at the end of June 2013 as the band embarked on a new tour as part of the traveling festival the Mayhem Festival. It reached number 26 on the Billboard Heatseekers, an American chart that lists the best-selling records of the week among young artists.
