Scorpions

Scorpions is a German heavy metal and hard rock band founded in 1965 in Hanover, Germany. Their first album came out in 1972. The band enjoyed worldwide prestige, especially from the 1980s onward, thanks to hard rock tracks such as No One Like You in 1982 or Rock You Like a Hurricane in 1984 and ballads like Still Loving You that same year or Wind of Change and Send Me an Angel in 1990, all songs of great commercial success. With their media decline setting in from the 1990s, the protagonists turned to new experiences, notably with Moment of Glory. To date they have sold more than a hundred million albums around the world. On 23 January 2010 the band announced that, after their world tour, they would end their career. The band reversed its decision in late 2012.
