Seismes

Band formed in early 1979 in Auxerre. The 5 members played covers of hard rock standards before starting in '81 to compose their own songs. A first 45 rpm single was recorded but not pressed, then the band parted ways with its singer. Frédéric Huvet, the guitarist, took over vocals with Eric Philippeau on guitar, Francis Bruyère on bass and Joel Bediot on drums. In March '83, Seismes entered the studio to record a self-titled album.
