Septic Flesh

Septic Flesh is a Greek symphonic progressive death metal band founded in Athens in 1990. The band formed in 1990 and very quickly released a first demo, Temple Of The Lost Race, in 1991. The line-up did not change until 1997, when Nathalie Rassoulis's voice was added on the album Ophidian Wheel. Upon their split in 2004, after Sumerian Daemons and for the release of their new album Communion, the band changed its name to Septicflesh. The band split up in 2003, and the members then took part in various projects (Chaostar, Firewind, Nightfall). The band reformed in 2007, on the occasion of the Metal Healing Festival in Greece, alongside Orphaned Land, Rage and Aborted.
