Sidilarsen

Sidilarsen is a French metal band, originating from Toulouse, in Haute-Garonne. Formed in 1997, the band has a total of seven studio albums, Biotop (2003), Eau (2005), Une nuit pour sept jours (2008), Machine rouge (2011), Chatterbox (2014), Dancefloor Bastards (2016) and On va tous Crever (2019) in a style that blends metal and electronic music. The band was formed in 1997 in Ariège by Benjamin Bury, David and Samuel Cancel, Sébastien Eychenne and Julien Soula. It gave its first concert in Foix on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique. The band's name originates from the town of Sidi Lahcene where Benjamin Bury's father was born, a name that attracted the band by its sound, its warmth and the "mixing side" it evokes. Sidilarsen released a first demo the following year, Énergie nourricière.
