Slade

Slade is a British glam rock band, originating from Walsall and Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands. The band was formed in the late 1960s, initially in an R&B vein, under the name "The N'Betweens" and later as a folk rock band under the name "Ambrose Slade". It was not until the early 1970s that the band met with great success by covering, in a glam rock style, a series of popular songs.
