Slipknot

Slipknot is an American nu metal band, originating from Des Moines, Iowa. It was formed by percussionist Shawn Crahan and bassist Paul Gray in 1995. The band was initially composed of nine members: Sid Wilson, Paul Gray, Joey Jordison, Chris Fehn, James Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, and Corey Taylor. Paul Gray, who died on 24 May 2010, and Joey Jordison, dismissed on 12 December 2013, were replaced respectively by Alessandro Venturella and Jay Weinberg. Then it was Chris Fehn who left Slipknot after filing a lawsuit over a matter of remuneration.
