Starkill

Starkill is an American melodic death metal band, originally from Chicago, Illinois. The members met in 2008 and signed their first contract with Century Media Records on 14 December 2012. The first album, Fires of Life, was released on 16 May 2013. The brothers and founding members, Parker Jameson and Spencer Weidner, had been writing songs since their teenage years, but faced some difficulties in forming their band, notably the lack of musicians with the same talent and sharing the same musical tastes as them. Parker therefore considered recruiting at Indiana University, hoping that the school's music program would allow him to meet musicians with similar aspirations.
