WebsiteStar One is a progressive metal project by composer Arjen Anthony Lucassen. The tracks are inspired by science-fiction films that made a mark on the composer. The first album "Space Metal" was released in 2002 on the Inside Out label. Many famous metal guests take part in it, such as Russell Allen, Damian Wilson, Floor Jansen and Ed Warby. This album gave rise to the filmed tour "Live on Earth" in 2003, during which many tracks by Ayreon, another of Lucassen's projects, were also played. A second album, "Victims of the Modern Age", was released in November 2010.
