Website
A band from Liège in Belgium, formed in 1982 from the meeting of two guitarists and a bassist. Looking for a drummer, they hired Rudy Lenners on his return from Germany, after he had left the famous band SCORPIONS. In no time, SteeLover recorded its first album 'Glove Me' on the Mausoleum label. In 1984, at Forest National in Brussels, the band opened for KISS and BON JOVI. After being joined in 1986 by Dani Klein (Vaya Con Dios), Steelover gave a last concert filmed for the show 'Music Box' hosted by Ray Cokes for the RTBF in co-production with the BBC, at the Palais des Congrès in Liège/Belgium. A few years later, Rudy Lenners and Nick Gardi decided to reform SteeLover, with the original line-up guitarist, Pat Freson, and the singer and guitarist John L in place of Pheel.
