Steel Panther

Steel Panther (previously called Metal Skool, Metal Shop and Danger Kitty) is a Californian heavy metal band, founded in Hollywood, California. Named Metal Shop at its beginning, the band is known for its energetic live performances. On stage, the band plays several covers of 1980s glam metal classics. The band members are known for their improvisations between songs during concerts, the band discussing drugs, rock, sex and joking among themselves. First known as a cover band, it now plays its own compositions. The very first album was released in June 2009, titled Feel the Steel. Steel Panther is the band that played most often on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. In 2011, Steel Panther's second studio album, Balls Out, was released.
