Steel Prophet

Steel Prophet is a power metal band created in 1982, based in Los Angeles since the late 1980s. The band released its first demo Steel Prophet in 1986, but a year later, Gary Stocking and Harry Blackwell were dropped from the band. They would recruit bassist Vince Dennis and singer Rick Mythiasin. It was with this line-up that the band released a new demo Inner Ascendance in 1989, followed in 1995 by the album The Goddess Principle. After the departure of John Tarascio in 1996, numerous drummers succeeded one another within the band, which did not prevent Steel Prophet from becoming prolific by releasing 6 albums from 1997 to 2002. In 2004, significant changes were made to the band's line-up, with the departures of Vince Dennis and Rick Mythiasin; the band recorded two albums (including a compilation) that year.
