Steve Jones

Steve Jones, whose real name is Stephen Philip Jones, born on 3 September 1955 in the Hammersmith district of London (United Kingdom), is a British guitarist, singer, composer and actor. He is mainly known as guitarist and founding member of the band Sex Pistols, initiators of the punk movement in the United Kingdom. Steve Jones began a solo career in 1985: Mercy is his first solo album. The track Mercy was used in the American television series Miami Vice (season 3, episode 2 entitled Stone's War) and appeared on the album Miami Vice BO II. The track Pleasure and Pain, also taken from the album, was used in the film Sid and Nancy released in 1986. In 1989, he released his second solo album, entitled Fire and Gasoline, on which he handles guitar and vocals, with Terry Nails on bass and Mickey Curry on drums.
