Striker

Canadian quintet formed in 2007 in Edmonton by Dan Cleary and Ian Sandercock. After a demo in 2008 and a first EP limited to 525 copies, Striker released its first album. In April 2010, Striker parted ways with its drummer. He was replaced by Adam Brown. In 2017, the band toured Europe and North America with Sonata Arctica, Dark Tranquility and Warbringer, as well as 70000 Tons Of Metal and Bang Your Head!!! in Germany. Their self-titled album released the same year earned them a nomination for Canada's Juno Award, the country's highest honor, as well as awards at the Edmonton Music Awards and the Western Canadian Awards.
