Tattoo

Tattoo was a heavy metal band formed in Chicago in 1984. They released two full-length albums before splitting up, "Blood Red" in 1988 although there is another earlier version of this album with a slightly different cover in 1985, and "King Of The White Trash Neighborhood" in 1993, the latter being a rare piece to find. Of all the bands covered in this review series, Chicago-based Tattoo is perhaps the strangest and most obscure. They never appeared on any Metal Massacre compilation, but still managed to sign with Metal Blade Records to release Blood Red, their "first" official album, in 1988.
