His music embodies the values of hunting and American patriotism. His best-known songs are Snakeskin cowboys, Stranglehold, Free For All, Dog Eat Dog, Wang Dang Sweet Poontang, Cat Scratch Fever, Motor City Madhouse, Great White Buffalo, and Wango Tango. Ted Nugent is also known for his involvement with the GOA (Gun Owners of America), and is a fervent supporter of the death penalty, of armed self-defense and of the right to own a firearm (Second Amendment of the American Constitution).
