WebsiteThe Almighty is a Scottish Heavy Metal band founded in 1988 in Glasgow, City of Glasgow. The band recorded its first album, Blood, Fire and Love, in 1989, followed by Soul Destruction in 1991 and Powertrippin in 1993. At that point in their career they had a certain fame, but it would not last. They still released four more albums up to 2001, but amid a certain indifference on the part of their earliest fans.
