If you are impervious to fun, go on your way. This wacky project comes to us from Sweden, orchestrated by four talented musicians. Not virtuosos, but almost. The principle of this record is simple: it consists of covering an ABBA song with the orchestration of a heavy metal standard. Even if NiME's readers are not, at first glance, potential ABBA fans, it goes without saying that they know this band. A veritable social phenomenon in the 70s, they won the Eurovision in 1974 and invented the shiny music video. To date, ABBA has sold 400 million records. It is therefore impossible that you have never heard of them. The kitsch band par excellence, each of their records benefited from meticulous production and their melodies have hit and will always hit the mark. They never left the collective memory and are congratulated with each revival.
