The Bronx Casket Co.

The band was formed in 1999 by Overkill's bassist, D.D. Verni. Their first album is called The Bronx Casket Company and received good reviews. In 2001, they released their second album, Sweet Home Transylvania, which aroused the same enthusiasm. Although the band never played a concert, the band draws the listener in with songs like Jesus Doesn't Live Here Anymore, The Other Me and Black Valentine. The songs of this second album caught the attention of playwright Andrea Lepcio. Shortly after, Verni and Lepcio collaborated with Hinton Battle (three-time Tony Award winner) on the staging and choreography of The Bronx Casket Co... A New Musical.
