The Killer Barbies

Silvia Superstar (Silvia García Pintos) and Billy King (Antonio Domínguez) formed The Killer Barbies in 1994, and quickly began recording tracks for the label Toxic Records. They released their first album, Dressed to Kiss, in 1995. A year later came the second album, ...Only for Freaks! shortly after appearing in Jess Franco's film, Killer Barbys[1]. They recorded a third album in 1998, Big Muff. All three albums sold more than 10,000 copies each according to the band. The band later signed to the German label Drakkar Records, in order to reach a wider audience compared to Spain. In 2000, they released their first international album Bad Taste, which includes re-recorded tracks from their previous albums.
