The Old Dead Tree

The band formed in 1997, and initially consisted of Manuel Munoz (vocals, guitar, lyrics), Vincent Danhier (bass), Nicolas Chevrollier (guitar and backing vocals), and Frédéric Guillemot (drums). Thanks to their self-produced four-track demo, titled The Blossom (1999), as well as the concerts that followed, TODT began to make a name for itself in the heavy metal world. However, the dream was cut short following the tragic suicide of the drummer in August 1999, an event that none of the members of TODT could have anticipated, nor even imagined. This did not, however, halt the band's rise.
