Thy Serpent

Thy Serpent was formed in 1992 by Sami Tenetz, founder of Spikefarm Records, the extreme sublabel of Spinefarm Records. During an interview with Decibel magazine in 2015, Tenetz explained that he had formed Thy Serpent to "make the album that would satisfy me, even though, before that, I had never played or composed anything in my life. It took four years before Spinefarm published Thy Serpent's first album." In 1994, Tenetz recorded the demo Frozen Memory, followed by Into Everlasting Fire in 1995. In 1995, Tenetz was joined by Agathon on drums and Luopio on bass.
