Trophallaxy is a Swiss symphonic metal band, which came into being in 2007. Playing their first concerts in 2008, the five members of the band released in July of that year a four-track demo, Unfairytale, recorded in their rehearsal space in Romanel-sur-Lausanne. Daily Rock does not hesitate to compare Unfairytale to the first release of Lunatica, a Swiss reference in symphonic metal, while Transit Magazine describes the result as remarkable. This demo allowed Trophallaxy to begin making a name for itself by being played several times on the radio, notably on Rouge FM.
