Founded in 2016 by former HAMMERFALL drummer Anders Johansson and his two sons, Karl and Nick, on bass and guitar respectively. Mike Andersson quickly completed the lineup on vocals (Cloudscape). Tungsten released its first album, titled 'We Will Rise', on September 20, 2019 via Arising Empire. In November 2020, Tungsten released its second album Tundra, whose track 'King of Shadows' became a live anthem for the band.
