Twilightning

Twilightning was formed in 1998 in Imatra, Finland. The original line-up was made up of four members: Tommi Sartanen (guitar/vocals), Ville Wallenius (guitar), Jussi Kainulainen (bass) and Juha Leskinen (drums). In February 1999, the band recorded their first demo at the Astia studios in Lappeenranta, and it is for this reason that they played several concerts in their hometown. A few months later, Mikko Naukkarinen arrived in the band as a keyboardist, which had the consequence of improving the live performances and adding a new atmospheric dimension to the songwriting. The band's style and sound developed towards its current form and they recorded their second demo CD, "Affection Seeker", in April 2000.
