Tyrant

A German metal band originating from the Ulm region, TYRANT was led by the hilariously named Kerrmit. TYRANT released a number of independent albums between the mid- and late 80s. The band would be part of the Garattoni/Marek production and management team, based in Kirchheim/Teck near Stuttgart in southern Germany, and also including artists such as STORMWITCH, STRANGER and GRAVESTONE. TYRANT's first release, "Mean Machine" from 1984, released by Camel Records and recorded at the Spygel studios in Kircheim from July to August 1984, was engineered by Batze Kramer, featured Kerrmit, the guitar duo of Carl Tomaschko and Holgar Thiele, bassist Andre Papack and drummer Micky Budde.
