Vacivus

Vacivus is a British death metal band from Sunderland, England. Formed in 2013, the band has built a solid reputation within the extreme underground scene thanks to a dark, heavy and atmospheric style, mainly exploring themes related to emptiness (the Latin term vacivus meaning "empty"), death and darkness. Their music draws on classic American-style death metal and the occult, injecting a modern intensity and remarkable technical precision. It features oppressive atmospheres also reminiscent of black metal, carried by massive guitar riffs and a relentless rhythm section.
