Adrian "Adje" Vandenberg was born on 31 January 1954 in Holland. He formed his first band 'Mother of Pearl' at the age of 16 and recorded his first single 'the guitar man' in 1973 with his new band Darling. 3 years later he joined the Country Rock band 'Magic Box' and in '77 started the band Teaser which would become Vandenberg. In '82, he recorded their first album in the studios of Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin). In '87, David Coverdale asked him to do some arrangements on "Here I go again". Adrian joined Whitesnake and wrote all the tracks of the album 'Slip of The Tongue' but a hand injury prevented him from playing. 10 years later he made the album 'Restless Heart' in its entirety. Afterwards, Adrian preferred to devote himself to his family and to painting. In 2014, Adrian launched into a new project 'Vanderberg's Moonkings.
