Vanilla Ninja

Vanilla Ninja is an Estonian all-female rock band, originating from Tallinn. Formed in 2002, it won over the Estonian public during its participation in Eurolaul 2003. Success came with the release of the eponymous album Vanilla Ninja in 2003. The band's popularity has never waned since, to the point that a brand of ice cream and of kohuke are released under its name. In 2004-2005, the band made a name for itself in Central Europe with Traces of Sadness and Blue Tattoo, which earned it selection to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005.
