Vanity Dies Hard is a Swedish Progressive Metal band, formed in 1999 in Malmö, Scania. After four demos from 2001 to 2005, the band recorded its first album, When Torching the Day, the following year, followed by the EP What Had to Be Done in 2007. The band appears on a few compilations including: - "Surrounded By..." on Sweden Rock Magazine # 38 (Sweden Rock Magazine, 2006) and - "When Torching the Day" on Soundcheck #86 (Close-Up Magazine, 2006).
